Welcome to the bilingual kindergarten Kinderkiste Upsy Daisy in Munich (Haidhausen). Upsy Daisy welcomes children aged 3 to 6 years old of all cultural backgrounds, whose native tongue is German and/or English. The goal of our kindergarten is to provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for your child.
Upsy Daisy offers a safe and happy atmosphere. We focus on children learning how to work, play and co-operate with others and function in a group beyond their family. We cover important aspects of personal, social and moral development, including the development of personal values and an understanding of self and of others.
We believe that each child is unique and special and our programme emphasises emotional and cognitive growth through play, social interaction and self-expression through a wide variety of individual and group activities.
As a parental initiative, the kindergarten welcomes and depends on parents’ involvement. Depending on individual interests, each child’s parents are responsible for a certain task on the association’s board of management or on one of our committees.
